Statement of Faith

The Gospel of Our Salvation

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures (I Cor 15:1-8). Many, including the apostles, testified of seeing the risen Christ between His resurrection and ascension into heaven, during which time He showed himself alive by many infallible proofs (Acts 1:3). By believing, we have life through His name (John 20:31; Acts 4:12).
We are saved by grace through faith, and that not of ourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The Word of God

We believe that the King James Bible is the preserved word of the living God given by inspiration of God, and that it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that we who believe may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works (II Tim 3:16-17).

Church Governance

We are traditional independent Baptists with no formal affiliation to any institution outside the local church. We encourage and have regular association with other local churches that preach the true gospel of salvation and that are otherwise likeminded in the faith of Christ and in the authority of the words of God as described above.

Sunday PM Message - Pastor Daniel Noe

A Wise Warfare

I Pet 5:6-14

A warfare we can’t fight with fists, fi****ms, or wit. If we are going to do war, are we right with God?

I. Resist the Evil
A. Deal with Arrogance
- The responsibility is ours. We should, else God will.
B. Deal with Your Anxiety
- God is in control, and he cares.
C. Deal with the Adversary
- The Devil’s warfare is never a frontal attack: he’s always sneaking around.

II. Pursue the Positive
A. Enjoy the Great Grace of God
B. Endure the Grief
C. Understand God’s Exalting Glory
1. If he gets glory through our trouble, that’s enough.
2. If He gets glory through our suffering, that’s enough.
D. Take Advantage of Our Gathering

The Conflict

The battle of the mind is not only the toughest but it is the most significant battle in your walk with God.

The heart in its natural, fleshly environment, is seldom subdued by the mind unless that mind is right with God.

Truth is not Invented — it’s discovered.

—Pastor Noe

I. Don’t Believe Everything You Think is Right

- I’m pre-conditioned to see what I want to see.

II. You Will Have to Go on the Offensive to Clear Your Mind of the Garbage

- We have to be right with God on purpose.

III. Don’t Ever Stop Spiritually Learning

- Going through the ritual (Bible Reading, prayer, etc) is not true learning!

IV. Let God Control Your Imagination

- You have to have a vision for the future; God has to be there.
