Please keep Shea in your prayers as he begins his studies at Saint John's Seminary

Join us in welcoming Mr. Shea Barton to Saint John’s Seminary!

Shea is entering the Propaedeutic Program and studying for the Archdiocese of Boston. His favorite book of the Bible is the Gospel of Luke, which he loves for its attention to the Blessed Mother and the details of Jesus’ life found uniquely in Luke’s Gospel. His favorite saint is Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati, and outside of seminary, Shea enjoys hiking—having climbed both Mount Washington and Mount Monadnock in New Hampshire.

Father Paul of Mary Queen of Martyrs in Plymouth had a significant influence on Shea’s vocation, encouraging him to take the next step toward seminary. His experience serving at Adoration and Benediction also helped deepen his relationship with Jesus in the Eucharist.

As Shea begins his formation for the priesthood, we invite you to pray for him and for all of our seminarians as they seek to grow closer to Christ and prepare to serve His Church.

This Band has general reminders for Faith Formation and includes the calendar for all classes. Please note that I am working to add calendars and make sure everything is correct.

Classes begin September 16 for the middle school Bible Study and September 20 for K-5 classes at St. Peter, gr. 1-5 at OLOL, and Edge. The Monday classes begin September 21. Calendars were emailed this afternoon.
