"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’"

August Newsletter!

If you have not read our august newsletter, go and read it! Kyle Gorman writes that we need more congregations like the El Shaddai Free Lutheran church in Switzerland.

"Switzerland needs churches with this kind of substance. El Shaddai opposes the sinking Christian culture by immersing its members in a Bible-oriented community. Congregants have a religious safety net of brothers and sisters who are willing (and happy) to invest in one another’s needs: may they be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Such solidarity is attractive to Christians and unbelievers alike."

Our Missionary Assistant this fall!

Michelle Abel is still serving as a Missionary Assistant to Maringá, Brazil. She continues to assist her parents and their church, leading Bible studies, and teaching at english club. Additionally, Michelle is leading the new International Mission Foundation School located on SETELL campus. This is a four-month intensive Biblical and spiritual training. At this school, students will study Scripture deeply, discover their God-given gifts, and learn to apply them in building God’s Kingdom. Michelle has and is doing a lot of work and preparation for this school along with other ministry things.

Continue to pray for Michelle this fall. Pray that God will sustain her energy and excitement, that He will give her discernment and wisdom, and for those she will be teaching and training.

Nogales Team 2026!

What a blessing it was to serve at Triumph Free Lutheran in Nogales, Arizona. The team did various work projects like yard work, repairing the celling, and more. Additionally, they led a VBS and the theme was The Lord is My Shepherd.

Thank you for praying for us while we were there! We continue to pray for the church to grow and that the Lord would keep bringing more people into His flock.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭
