Sometimes we are so consumed by the demands of church ministry, family, and ensuring everything is in order that we forget to prioritize our relationship with God. I have come to realize that I need to step away from the chaos and spend quality time with Him, seeking to hear His voice more clearly. While I regularly communicate with God, there is something profound about hearing Him say, 'Come away, my beloved, come sit, and talk.' This week, I took time to reflect on what needs to change in my life. As I move forward, I am committed to making intentional decisions that will enable me to emerge stronger, both personally and in my roles as a pastor, leader, mother, wife, and grandmother. I recognize that I cannot pour from an empty vessel; I need to prioritize my spiritual well-being. No one can provide the nourishment and refreshment that God offers; He alone can bring transformation and renewal. It is not merely a change in circumstances, but rather an encounter with the living God, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is stated so many leaders face burnout, and I believe it’s because we don’t know how to pull away and spend time in the presence of God. I work with him not for him. We talked about my faith, family, finance, future, focus ,favor then I asked the Lord what is the formula I need for an awesome year he said, Prayer, fasting and my word!!!
