Who are you—really?

The world tells us to build our identity from feelings, success, politics, appearance, achievement, or desire. Jesus offers something deeper, steadier, and true.

Join us this Sunday for a special message from preacher, Sue McGeown.

“Real Human Identity Made Easy”
from John 14:15–29

As Jesus promises the Holy Spirit, He reminds His disciples—and us—that we are not abandoned, forgotten, or left to figure life out alone. In Christ, we discover who we truly are and where lasting peace is found.

“If you love me, keep my commandments… I will not leave you orphaned.” — John 14

Join us live for worship, prayer, Scripture, and a message of hope grounded in the truth of God’s Word at 10am this Sunday.

Is Jesus just one way among many—or did He really mean what He said?

This Sunday at Pluckemin Church we continue our series with Week 3: The Only Way
John 14:6 & Acts 4:12

In a world that celebrates endless options and personal truth, Jesus makes a staggering claim:
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”
What do we do with a statement like that?
Is Christianity hopelessly narrow—or is there actually hope in the exclusivity of Christ?
Join us as we explore one of the most challenging and important teachings of Jesus and why it still matters today.

Some messages comfort us. Others confront us.
This Sunday’s message does both.

In a world full of opinions, shifting truths, and endless searching, what happens when Jesus makes a claim that demands a response?

Join us tomorrow at 10 a.m. for a message that challenges, encourages, and points us toward lasting hope.

What comes to mind when you think about God?

For many people, the picture is distorted. Angry. Distant. Indifferent.

But Jesus reveals something different.

Look at the way He welcomed sinners, showed compassion, confronted hypocrisy, wept with the grieving, and forgave from the cross.

If you want to know what God is like, look to Jesus.

This wasn’t just a profound statement. It was a direct claim to divinity.

When Jesus said, “Before Abraham was, I AM,” He pointed back to the very name God revealed to Moses at the burning bush. The crowd understood exactly what He meant, and their reaction proved it.

Jesus didn’t simply claim to speak for God. He claimed equality with God.

John 8:58 reminds us that Jesus is not just a teacher, prophet, or moral example. He is who He says He is.

05/17/2026

Who is Jesus—really?

A good teacher? A prophet? A spiritual guide? A revolutionary?
Jesus never left Himself in those categories.

In Week 2 of our series, Islam vs. Christianity, we’ll look at one of the biggest questions any person can ask: Who is the true Jesus?

In Colossians 1, Paul describes Jesus as the image of the invisible God, the Creator of all things, and the One through whom we are reconciled to God. In John 14:6, Jesus says something that still confronts every generation:
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”

This message is not about politics, stereotypes, or internet arguments. It’s about the identity of Christ—and why getting Jesus right matters eternally.

In a world filled with opinions about who Jesus is, it can be easy to settle for a version of Him that feels comfortable, familiar, or culturally accepted.

But Jesus doesn’t simply ask to be admired. He calls us to recognize Him for who He truly is.

This Sunday, we’ll open Scripture together and look at the claims Jesus made about Himself, and why those claims still demand a response today.

Join us tomorrow at 10 a.m. We’d love to worship with you.
