It's Easter, sometimes called Resurrection Sunday. Jesus coming back from the dead is what sets Christianity apart from all other religions. Other religions may have had great founders, but not one of them came back from the dead to prove who they were. Jesus did. I hope that gets your attention today and makes you that Jesus is God's Son and we should be listening to Him.

Tomorrow, April 5 we celebrate Easter; the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. In Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. we will discuss the time between the crucifixion on Friday and the resurrection on Sunday. And then during worship, beginning at 11:00, we will discover how Easter means that we don't have to stay the same. Easter means we can be better. Join us in person, or at least tune in around 11:15 here on Facebook to see and hear the sermon. But trust us, you will especially be blessed if you are there in person.

Announcement: The preacher is a wimp and has asked that Sunday School be canceled for this Sunday while he continues to recuperate from knee replacement. Last Sunday proved to be a little too much for him. But, worship is not affected at 11:00 a.m. See you then.

In case you haven't heard, it will be a great day this Sunday. We will have a pitch in dinner after worship and honor Richard and Jenny for their 50th wedding anniversary. During worship, Terry and Sandy will be singing and the sermon is "Jesus Taught Worship by Example." There will be no Sunday School this week. We invite you to join us at 11:00 a.m. for worship.

We apologize, but there will be no live feed of the sermon this morning, March 15. The preacher is playing hooky after a knee replacement. But, Dr. Kerry Allen, the president of Louisville Bible College, will be preaching in person today. We hope you can make it. We plan to return to regularly scheduled programming next Sunday.

Knee replacement on the preacher went well. Not much pain yet, nerve block hasn't worn off yet.
Please pray for Betty. She is having her procedure tomorrow.
