My husband Jim is a retired Navy veteran, and he was awarded the gift of a lifetime to Alpine, New Zealand. God has a hand in everything and has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams getting to experience this amazing journey together. I prayed about how to not only recieve this blessing and enjoy it, but to be able to turn around and be a witness and bless others while we were on this trip. Of course, I couldn't bring my boy Rip...but the first thing that came to me was I need to share Canines 4 Christ and our story, and our mission and God's love in any way I could!

To God be the Glory! Team Rip!

Welcome! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ

Please join us in giving a warm Canines 4 Christ welcome to our newest Argyle Chapter therapy teamโ€”Sergeant and his handlers, Tony and Linda Bradley! ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ
Pictured here with fellow therapy team Donna and her sweet girl, Missy, Sergeant is already making a difference in the lives of others. As our southernmost Argyle Chapter members, these two teams faithfully serve each week at Arlington Memorial Hospital and Morada Senior Living in Arlington.
We are so grateful for their commitment to sharing Christโ€™s love throughout the Tarrant County community. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ™โœจ

Therapy Dogs Olivia and Annie are truly a gift from God. When working at a memory care facility this past week, Annie and Olivia calmed and deescalated an agitated participant, they helped one of our nonverbal participants express feelings with a smile, and they brought joy to everyone they met. Seniors with Alzheimer's are so very dear to my heart, and this visit was truly a blessing. Thank you, God, for the opportunity to work with Canines for Christ and share your love, kindness and compassion through the paws of these two Shelties.

Team Cooper from Utah!

I wanted to share a couple of experiences Cooper and I have had with Canines for Christ. Friday we were able to visit a woman at an assisted living center. She seemed genuinely pleased to see Cooper and he brought her many smiles. Today I learned that the following day she passed away. So I consider it a real blessing that we got to bring her some joy in her final days.

Today Cooper and I were able to greet the residents at our local homeless shelter during the lunch hour where Calvary Chapel St. George serves a monthly lunch. It was a blessing to share the love of Jesus to those who are missing their own pets during hardship. The photo is of us with one of the members of our prayer team at the shelter.

Thank you for sharing Team Cooper! โ™ฅ๏ธ
