Pleasanton CofC Conference Center We are located in Pleasanton IA about a mile away from the down town area. We are also across the highway from Nine Eagles State Park.

This page is under construction. Please bear with us as we get underway. The Pleasanton Community of Christ Retreat Center is a building with a unique structure and purpose. The structure was built of concrete poured over a large balloon. In addition to 3 classrooms and a library, there is a loft overlooking the sanctuary with two dormitory style rooms 35. The Retreat Center is just that a retreat

center. It was designed with the idea that small groups needing an overnight retreat would be able to come in meet. The kitchen makes it possible to feed the attendees. Larger groups that want to come in for the day are also welcome. The retreat center is available for weddings, funerals, anniversaries, fund raisers and any other function that needs a large space and a warm welcoming atmosphere. This Retreat Center is also very affordable. At only $3/person/night and a $15 charge to use the kitchen even the local motels can’t match it. "I had been on assignment at a Detroit Montessori school for two days, and shot hundreds of photos. Some were very good, but I knew I hadn't gotten THE shot. That afternoon, as we all sat on the floor in a circle listening to a story, I bowed my head. When I raised my head, this little girl leaned over to lay her head on the little boy's lap. He very gently lifted his arm to receive her. I call this photo 'The Age of Innocence."
