St. Louis Day 5

We finished up the week doing lawn care at the Missouri Baptist Children's Home today. Then we returned to the ministry center for a special community dinner at the drop in center with both missions teams and the visitors there.

We have had an awesome week serving and building relationships and we are thankful, encouraged, and also tired and ready to head home!

St. Louis 2026 Day 4

We were blessed with a cooler day today and were able to complete the yard from yesterday and another yard today!

Brayden, Adie, and Xavier continued to serve in the drop in center.

Then we joined Faith Community Bible Church for youth group and some baseball ⚾️ 😄

St. Louis 2026 Day 3

We had a hot and sweaty, but fruitful day today!

Most of our team tackled a very overgrown yard in the community today. Send Relief partners with the city of Florissant to provide free lawn care to elderly and disabled residents who are facing fines from the city for overgrown yards.

In addition to mowing and weedeating, we filled a 40 cubic yd dumpster with brush and overgrowth we cut from the yard and fence line 🤯😅

Meanwhile, Brayden, Adie, and Xavier served in the drop in center, doing laundry, serving lunch, and navigating an unexpected power outage.

Finished up the day with an ice cream outing!

St. Louis 2026 Day 2

Winding down for dinner after our first day serving!

We spent the first part of today doing ministry training with Send Relief staff. Then after lunch we split into groups to tackle some ministry projects at the center.

Luke, Garrett, Kylee, and Bentley hung a TV and whiteboard in one of the classrooms, that will be a new briefing space for the center.

Morgan, Isabella, Riley and Chris cleaned and prepped a very dusty room for painting. This room is going to be used for the center's new Life Skills Academy for community members once finished.

Brayden, Adie, and Xavier cleaned and prepped the drop in center for visitors tomorrow, where they will continue serving food, showers and fellowship with community members throughout the week. They were "so busy they forgot to take photos" so alas they are not pictured. Maybe we'll get some tomorrow 😂

St. Louis 2026 Day 1

We had a fun and busy first day! Today was our day off before starting ministry projects tomorrow. We started off worshipping at Michael and Traci Byrd's church, Faith Community Bible Church. Then we managed to hit the zoo and the Arch with the rest of the afternoon. Finished off with dinner at the Spaghetti Factory in downtown St. Louis and celebrated Brayden's bday a few days early 🤭😁

We even had a few non-church members stop by and got the opportunity to invite them to join us on Sundays!

We are on our way back from an awesome weekend at DNOW in Carson Springs, TN! It was a weekend full of fellowship, fun, and growing in Christ together. God’s presence was especially evident last night as we all worshipped together in a beautuful time of song and prayer.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip possible!
