Following is an update from Lisa Garfi that she wanted shared with her church family. She started out talking about a session she had with occupational therapy. They took her to the gift shop and gave her the task of finding things and writing them down. She noted she had absolutely no depth perception, and it was hard for her mind to distinguish between open doors and glass walls. This experience literally "blew me away", were her words. She also talked about how exhausted she gets from her therapy sessions. They start at 8:00 in the morning and because they tire her out she wants to wait until she goes home to receive visitors. She is excited about seeing the Tuesday Night crew again and suggested that once she's home and settled, she would like to have us over to play games and hang out. We might have to break it up into 2 groups depending on the size and she mentioned maybe doing an afternoon and evening session. But this is something that can be discussed more thoroughly once she is back home. Please continue to pray for Lisa's recovery, especially that her perception of things improves immensely and also that her exhaustion eases up. Also continue to pray for her entire family, especially her husband, as they continue to help her on her road to recovery.

Hey gang.......Christy wants all of you to be in prayer for her mother, Peggy, who was admitted to St. Thomas Midtown today. She has developed a touch of pneumonia and they plan to keep her for a couple of days just to be safe. They are not looking for visitors, but do want prayers for a quick recovery and being able to return back home soon. Let's lift Ms Peggy up to the great healer.... she is one special lady..... Thanks everyone!
