Earthset. 🌎

NASA’s Orion Spacecraft captured this image of Earth “setting” while the spacecraft continued toward its distant retrograde orbit around the Moon. In this image from nearly 270,000 miles (430,000 km) away from Earth, Orion is traveling around the far side of the Moon and will soon surpass Apollo 13’s record-setting distance from Earth in a spacecraft designed to carry astronauts.
