This morning after Bible Study we all went to Tim and Betty's for an old-fashioned gospel sing along. Steve played the guitar and we sang Jesus Hold My Hand, Keep on the Sunny Side, I'll Fly Away, and several more. What a great morning of fellowship. Oh, and Happy Birthday, Cookie!

MEMORIAL SERVICE.

On Saturday September 17 at 1:00 p.m. there will be a memorial service for our friend, Darren Bright.

The service will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home in Kensett AR.

Tomorrow morning we will say our final good-bye to our dear friend, Madeline Wilf. Though we know that today she is already celebrating with the saints, she will be greatly missed among us, and will forever be in our thoughts.

The service is Wednesday, September 7, 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Plains United Methodist Church.

What a wonderful Celebration Sunday. Pleasant Plains United Methodist Church is now 100 years old. Thanks to all who participated, and special thanks to District Superintendent John Fleming for delivering a great message.

Today Pleasant Plains UMC celebrates 100 years of ministry with a special service that includes great music, lots of shared memories, and a message from our District Superintendent, John Fleming.

The service begins at 10:00 a.m. We invite to come join us today ... and stay for lunch! (No need to bring anything, though. It's all taken care of.)
