Salvation Mountain is excited for Edgewood’s new youth pastor, Gary Upton. We look forward to seeing you guys soon!!

Hello guys! We’re the Uptain family—Gary, Caitlin, Lawson, Holland and Watson. Gary was saved in September 2022 and hit the ground running for the Lord very shortly after. We’ve been involved in children’s ministry, led Bible clubs in local elementary schools, and for the last year Gary has served as youth pastor at Calvary Baptist Church of Oxford. The Lord called us to Edgewood through a series of events only He could orchestrate and we are so excited to have the opportunity to guide the youth here! Our prayer is that every student who walks through our doors will encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given purpose—and we would love to walk alongside your family in that journey.
