✂️New Sewing Ministry Forming at First Lutheran!
We’re starting a simple, joy‑filled sewing group to bless our neighbors in our community — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Whether you sew, cut, iron, tie knots, or simply enjoy good conversation, there’s a place for you. We’ll be creating items to share Christ’s love in a tangible way.
The third Monday of each month.

In Loving Memory of Fred D. Parise
We give thanks for the life of Fred D. Parise, age 79, of Nehawka, Nebraska, who entered his eternal rest on May 5, 2026, at Hillcrest Country Cottages in Papillion.

As we commend Fred to the mercy and promises of Christ, we hold close the comforting words of Jesus:

“Let not your hearts be troubled… I go to prepare a place for you.” — John 14

Please join us in praying for Fred’s family and loved ones as they grieve his passing and give thanks for his life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Rev. Ryan Maser officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before services at the Church.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to Faith Lutheran Academy for the planting of trees at their future site.
