What a special day at Connecting Point Church!

Today we had the privilege of honoring the men and women who serve our nation during our Military Appreciation Sunday. We experienced a wonderful time of worship, a record-breaking attendance for our church, meaningful moments of prayer, and a great time of fellowship afterward.

We are so thankful for everyone who joined us, especially our military members, veterans, and their families. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Days like today remind us of God’s faithfulness and the exciting future He has for Connecting Point Church. We are believing that the best is yet to come as we continue reaching people, building relationships, and doing life in Christ together.

To God be the glory for all He is doing!

🇺🇸 Military Appreciation Sunday is TOMORROW! 🇺🇸

Join us at 10:00 AM for a very special day as we honor the men and women who serve and have served our nation, along with their families.

We are excited to welcome our guest speaker, Pastor Mark Crawford, and we're believing for a powerful time of worship, encouragement, and fellowship.

After service, stay and enjoy food, activities for the kids, and time together as a church family and community.

At Connecting Point Church, honoring and serving military families has always been close to our hearts, and we are praying for a meaningful day filled with gratitude, encouragement, and God's presence.

Whether you're military, a veteran, a military family member, or simply want to join us in showing appreciation, we'd love to have you with us!

Due to power outages here, we will have to cancel Bible study Life group tonight. Have a nice evening. Please pray we get power back soon. The storm took it out around 4 am this morning and still out.

As we get ready for our Military Appreciation Service this Sunday at 10:00 a.m., I wanted to share a glimpse of the progress being made at Connecting Point Church.

We’re probably about 90% of the way there on this project, with a few finishing touches still ahead of us. From the beginning, our vision has been to create a place where people can gather, study God’s Word, build relationships, and encourage one another in the Lord—especially those connected to our military community.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has invested their time and resources to make this possible. A special thank you to my dad, Dale Scriven, who has worked tirelessly over the last several weeks helping bring this vision to life.

For those who have given financially to Connecting Point Church, this is why we give. Together, we’re creating a place where people can encounter Christ and grow in their faith.

We would love for you to join us this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for our Military Appreciation Service. Come see what God is doing and help us celebrate those who serve our nation.
