Lutheran Campus Ministry purchased 50 tickets to be given away during New Student Orientation this summer. For those who do not know, Skillet Music is a Christian heavy metal band! There were 0 tickets left to give away when my wife, Lisa and I (Vicar Jonathan Dolan) found a couple of seats in the bleachers! As you can see, it was a packed crowd for the Concert! What an energetic show!

Lisa and I enjoyed the concert and hope that the student recipients of a FREE ticket to the show did too! We are grateful that University of Wisconsin-Platteville was able to get such a talented group of musicians for the Welcome Weekend Concert! Good luck as you begin your new semester of classes!

Today is the last day of New Student Orientation. We, at LCM are excited about the new year and the possibilities it may bring for the students at UW-P! We look forward to welcoming the returning students and continue to pray for all the students as they begin to journey back to Platteville next month! See you all very soon!
