Tomorrow, January 6th, will be the Epiphany. In Spain, children traditionally did not receive their presents on Christmas Day but instead on January 6, in commemoration of the day the Wise Men arrived in Bethlehem bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Yesterday, arriving just in time for the blessed event tomorrow, was a camel for our parish's three Wise Men in outdoor Nativity set. Thanks to Angela and John Callahan for finding XII Apostles parish a camel. Mike could hardly wait to meet with Angela and John to add the camel to the display for the Epiphany.

Many thanks Angela and John and all members and friends of our church community be blessed now and always.

XII Apostles Parishioners---our fellow parish Knights of Columbus Council #16189---wishes to invite one and all to the second annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, September 12. Come solo or put together a team.
All proceeds go toward the following:
***Hillcrest Transitional Housing
***Knights of Columbus Coat for Kids (which goes to kids in Northwest Missouri)
***Seminarians which the Council sponsors
***Other charities in Northwest Missouri

A promised delivered....
Remember when we last gathered for a social event? March 8, 2020 was one of the last times. It was for our Lenten Tea Party. It was all about fun, fellowship and coming together to raise a few dollars to do a special project for our parish.
This past week our ever faithful, Bob Ralston, came through for our parish once again when he installed your gift to the parish, a cover for the baptismal font. Bob custom fitted and made metal work for the beautiful dome cover to fit our font. I couldn't wait to share pictures of the fruit of Bob's labor. It is stunning!
When you see Bob, please make sure to thank him for his works. Bob and Loretta Ralston, just two of XII Apostles faithful servants who keep our parish a safe and beautiful sanctuary for us to gather and worship.

Palm Sunday---APRIL 14, 2019

In the case of rain, snow or cold temperatures,
the XII Apostles Easter Egg Hunt WILL GO ON.
The hunt will be moved inside to the basement of the church in the event of bad weather.
Please enter on the lower level of the church prior to the 2:00 pm start time.
This event happens fast---so please be ready for a prompt start time.

PLEASE HAVE CHILDREN BRING THEIR OWN BASKETS.

The age groups will be 0-2; 3-4 years old; 5-6 years old; 7-8 years old; 9-10 years old.

Immediately following, "kids" of all ages will be able to enjoy cookies and lemonade, pictures with the Easter Bunny and the drawing for TWO jars of jelly beans.

Come join in on the fellowship and fun.
