Good morning ~~~~ December 1, 2025. Yesterday in church we lit the purple candle on our Advent wreath.
Advent prayer for week 1. “Heavenly Father, we know we all tend to get caught up in the humanness of this holiday season. Help us to remember and reflect on the HOPE we have been given….the birth of our Lord and Savior. Help us to reflect on the gifts of hope, peace, joy and love that was sent to us on that first CHRISTmas.

I missed our church service and Sunday School lesson last week due to an interruption. The interruption was my fault, my clumsiness! Not all interruptions are bad…..some can be a blessing. Some can happen for us to stop and LISTEN to what our God is saying to us. Anyway, this was sent to me and it gave me an “a-ha” moment……what I needed😊🙏🏻😇

Always have the Lord’s name ready to share with others. Share our story. What he has done in our lives…..the storms he carried us through, mountains we climbed together and giving thanks in all we have. A simple glimpse of starry nights, the sun barely peeking out in the morning, laughter, hugs from a grandchild and on and on……HE HAS PROVIDED
