What an incredible Sunday at Faith Assembly!

Today was a special and historic moment in the life of our church as we celebrated the faithful ministry and retirement of Pastors Fred & Pam Brooks, while also praying over and blessing Pastors Michael & Julie Pippin as they step into the role of Lead Pastors.

Pastor Fred shared a powerful message on how to thrive through seasons of change, and it could not have been more fitting for this moment. We are grateful for the legacy that has been built and full of expectation for what God has ahead.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a meaningful day. God is doing something special at Faith Assembly, and like Pastor Fred said “we believe the best days are still to to come.”

Before the power of Acts 2 came, there was the waiting of Acts 1.

Before revival, there was surrender.
Before miracles, there was prayer.
Before the church changed the world, they learned how to wait with expectation for the Holy Spirit.

One of the biggest lessons from Acts 1 is this:
Don’t neglect today’s obedience while waiting for tomorrow’s breakthrough.

The disciples didn’t know exactly when the promise would come, but they stayed faithful anyway. They prayed. They stayed together. They trusted God’s timing.

Sometimes God does His deepest work in the waiting room.

This Sunday we kicked off our new series through the book of Acts: Summer of Fire.

Take a moment to watch Week 1: “The Promise Before the Power” and share the message with someone who may be in a season of waiting right now.

The Faith Walk - Week 5: "GO - We Multiply the Mission

What happens when you truly encounter Jesus?

You can’t keep it to yourself.

In Luke 24, the disciples recognized the risen Christ and immediately got up, returned to Jerusalem, and shared what they had seen and experienced. Their encounter became a testimony. Their testimony became a mission.

We concluded The Faith Walk series with a powerful message about living on mission where God has placed you.

✅ Every believer has a story to tell
✅ Every disciple is called to make disciples
✅ Every step of obedience can point someone toward Jesus

You don’t have to be a preacher to make an impact. You simply need to be willing to share what Jesus has done in your life, what He has said, or who He is.
