❤️ What a special and bittersweet day at Knights Baptist Church ❤️
Today we gave thanks to our LORD for bringing Mrs. Joan to Knights Baptist Church “for such a time as this.”
Mrs. Joan was called early in life to serve the Lord, and in 2020, she followed His calling that brought her to KBC. During her time with us, she has faithfully served as our Senior Adult Outreach Leader, Bible Study Leader, VBS volunteer, and a precious prayer warrior. She has prayed faithfully for our church and for so many within it. 🙏
Today we celebrated Mrs. Joan as she prepares for her next chapter, moving to Montana to live with her son. While she will be sorely missed at KBC, she already knows the Lord will lead her to the right church home where she can continue serving Him. That is simply who Mrs. Joan is. ❤️
She shared one of her favorite Scriptures today, Proverbs 3:5-6—a beautiful reminder to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and “lean not on your own understanding.”
And, of course, we couldn't celebrate Mrs. Joan without some of her favorite hymns. 🎶 We were blessed to hear “I’ll Fly Away” and “Because He Lives”—songs that so beautifully reflect the faith she has lived and shared with all of us.
Mrs. Joan, Knights Baptist Church will miss you dearly, but we are so thankful the Lord brought you into our lives. Your prayers, your service, your wisdom, and your love for the Lord have left a lasting mark on our church family.
We love you, Mrs. Joan, and we can't wait to see where the Lord leads you next. ❤️🙏
