Faith Home Ministry

Faith Home Ministry We are a faith based residential discipleship program for men & women who are addicted to drugs & alcohol, leading them to freedom through Jesus Christ!

It's so much more than a program.. it's sharing purpose and identity with the hurting and broken! The Faith Home Ministry is an 18-month faith-based, residential discipleship ministry for men and women lost to a life of sin and addiction. It is a 12 month program curriculum with a 6 month transitional plan for career or leadership development. While in the 12 months of discipleship, the students p

articipate in an in-depth curriculum of classes entirely based on the Word of God, as well as daily devotions, church services, character-building work hours, life coaching sessions and more. By the end of the 12 months, the students will have a solid plan formed for their 6 months of transition as they can choose to remain as a working student or student intern at the ministry. They will have a formal graduation ceremony upon completion of 18 months. The main focus is not where they have been, or what they have done; they have already been well-versed in the ways of sin and addiction. Instead, the focus is turned to the only One who can and will set them free: Jesus Christ! Each student has the wonderful opportunity of getting to know Jesus through a close and personal relationship with Him as they gain a foundation in the Word of God, all while instilling discipline back in their lives. We have seen countless men and women restored to life, restored to their families, and restored to society through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and knowledge of the Word of God. If you know anyone in need of help, please call us at (813) 677-5220.

This past weekend the women of the Faith Home went to the “Courageous Women of Purpose” conference at Full Gospel Tabernacle — and the presence of God met us powerfully.

There is something happening in this generation of women.God is healing hearts, restoring identity, and awakening purpose.

Women who once felt lost, broken, and forgotten are discovering that Jesus still calls daughters higher.

This weekend was a reminder that courage is not the absence of fear — it’s the decision to keep saying yes to God.And these women are saying YES.

There’s something prophetic happening in this season.

As the men of the Faith Home put their hands to the walls of the church and begin painting, restoring, and rebuilding, Heaven is revealing something far greater than a modern facelift.

God is restoring His house through restored men.

Every brush stroke is a testimony.
Every wall being covered speaks of shame being erased.
Every repaired place declares that broken things can live again.

The very men the enemy once tried to disqualify are now rebuilding the house of God with honor, integrity, and purpose.

This is a clarion call to the Church:
Stop counting people out that God is calling up.

The Kingdom has always been built by redeemed people.
Men once bound are now building.
Men once lost are now leading.
Men once addicted are now carrying vision, responsibility, and the presence of God.

The Lord is not only renovating buildings — He is renovating identity.
He is restoring ancient ruins.
He is rebuilding generations.
He is placing dignity back into sons.

“And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities…” — Isaiah 61:4

This isn’t just paint on walls.
This is prophecy in motion.
We are here for you or a family member that may need help.

Horse shoes and BBQ may look simple to some, but in the Kingdom it becomes holy ground when sons are being restored.

For the Men’s Faith Home, this wasn’t just a Memorial Day gathering — it was a picture of redemption.

These men know what it means to work hard and now they are learning what it means to fight hard in the Spirit.
Not being led by emotions.
Not bowing to feelings.
Not surrendering to the lies of addiction, shame, or the past.

They are pressing beyond the voice of the flesh to discover their true identity in Christ Jesus.

The world taught them survival.
But Jesus is teaching them sonship.

And while Monday we honored the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for our nation’s freedom, there is One who outdid them all.

The King of Glory stepped onto the battlefield of sin and death and willingly gave His life so that ours could be lived in truth, freedom, authority, and righteousness.

Because of Jesus, chains are breaking.
Because of Jesus, men are becoming fathers.
Because of Jesus, prodigals are returning home.
Because of Jesus, what hell tried to destroy is being rebuilt for His glory.

This is more than recovery.
This is resurrection.

Jesus, we give You all the honor and all the praise.

If you know someone who is needing help, struggling with life controlling issues. The Faith Home is here to help.

This is more than a program — it’s a place where people encounter Jesus and learn how to truly live free.

My name is Heather, and I’m a graduate and now an intern at the Lighthouse Gospel Mission Faith Home.

I grew up surrounded by brokenness, trauma, addiction, and deep pain. Even though I knew about Jesus from a young age, I spent years searching for healing, comfort, and acceptance in all the wrong places. My struggle didn’t always look like what people typically picture when they hear the word addiction. Mine looked like constantly turning to food, w**d, victimhood, and chasing after mental health medications, hoping something could finally fix the emptiness, anxiety, depression, and pain inside of me.

But no matter what I tried, nothing healed me. Religion kept me thinking I had Jesus, but that He just wasn’t working for me.

Eventually, I hit rock bottom physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was exhausted from trying to save myself. That exhaustion brought me to a very lonely and desperate place, but in that place, I cried out to God in a way I never had before. I fully surrendered my life to Jesus—and that surrender changed everything.

Through being discipled at the Faith Home and through the love of God, Jesus completely transformed my life. What no man could do, He did!!!

He set me free from the cycles that once controlled me, miraculously healed my body from Type 1 diabetes, and gave me a brand new purpose.

I’ve now lost over 150 pounds, fallen in love with fitness and health, and gone from living hopeless, lazy, and undisciplined to thriving in a life fully surrendered to Jesus.

Today, I wake up every day passionate about growing closer to God and serving others through this ministry. The Lighthouse Gospel Mission Faith Home became the place where I truly encountered Jesus—not religion, but relationship.

If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, depression, hopelessness, trauma, or feels trapped in cycles they can’t escape, I believe this is your sign to reach out.

Don’t ignore the tug on your heart. Jesus still changes lives, and there is still hope for you.

The Faith Home is more than a program—it’s a place where broken people encounter the love, healing, and transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Your story is not over. Freedom is possible. Healing is possible. Jesus is still restoring lives.

If you know someone in need, or if the Lord is putting someone on your heart right now, reach out to the Lighthouse Gospel Mission Faith Home. Sometimes one act of obedience can change someone’s eternity. 🙌

My name is Sarah. Before coming to the Faith Home, I had been to jail 7 times.

For years, I thought drugs and alcohol were my problem. But the truth is, they were only the symptom.

The real issue was abandonment, rejection, and the desperate need to feel loved.
I searched for acceptance in relationships, addiction, and the people around me. I became a chameleon — whoever others wanted me to be — until I completely lost myself.

But even in my rebellion, God never lost sight of me.

What looked like a hopeless cycle was actually a soul crying out for the Father.

At the Faith Home I understood why my human nature was to conform, I learned that we are meant to conform to the image of God and through that we find our identity and purpose.
I realized what I had been searching for all along was who He created me to be from the foundations of the world

Today, by the grace of God, I am no longer bound by addiction or the identity I once lived in. God has given me discipline, purpose, a career I love, a husband who encourages me to be who God created me to be, and the privilege of pouring into the youth of our church and other women with the same hope that rescued me.

The very thing the enemy marked for destruction became the testimony God now uses to bring restoration.

Hear me:
Addiction is not greater than the hand of God.

Shame is not stronger than His mercy.

And your prodigal is not too far gone for resurrection.

Somebody’s daughter is coming home.

Somebody’s mother is going to be restored.

Somebody who the world gave up on is about to encounter the love of the Father.

The Faith Home is more than a program.

It’s a place where broken men and women encounter Jesus, lay down false identities, and become whole again.

Three bottles.
One decision away from ending everything.

But instead of giving up, they made one phone call to the Faith Home.

That call changed everything.

This is why we answer the phone.
This is why we fight for people.
This is why the doors stay open.

Because hopelessness is not the end of the story.
Jesus still rescues.
Jesus still restores.
Jesus still steps into the darkest moments and brings life where death was waiting.

Tonight someone is alive because they reached out instead of giving up. ❤️
