In a world that says “do what you want, live how you want, say what you want, be what you want”, the Bible instructs us as believers that even our good intentions are warped by our sinful desires. We must be a people that surrender our fleshly desires to the desires of the Spirit. In this “War of Desires,” by embracing the Holy Spirit's transformative power, we overcome the internal conflict between our sinful nature and our aspirations for good. As our desires align with God's, we discover the freedom to live a life of purpose, characterized by intentions that honor Him and yield the desires of our hearts.
