Following Anne Malone’s Memorial Service this Saturday, August 15th, at our Sugar Grove Campus, we will gather for a light lunch.
If you would like to contribute a side dish or dessert, it would be greatly appreciated. Dishes can be dropped off at the Sugar Grove Campus beginning at 9:30 a.m. that morning.
Thank you for helping us provide a meal and time of fellowship as we remember and celebrate Anne’s life.

Anne Marie Malone (nee Camey), 57, suddenly passed away from this life into the presence of her Savior Jesus on August 6, 2026. She was born on February 27, 1969 and was raised by loving parents, Bob and Kathy Camey, as well as by a generous and loving extended family. She leaves behind a devoted husband, Darin, and son, Jimmy, along with brothers, Glen (Lisa) and Marcus (Sue), with her brother Lucas preceding her in death in 1990. She will also be loved and missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Anne was creative and expressive. Answering God’s call, she lived to serve and bring joy to others whether that was through American Sign Language interpreting, leading others in worship, teaching Sunday school, serving as an advocate for children in the Kendall County Courts system, or creating floral arrangements for weddings and other special occasions. She made an impact in many lives through her service. Sometimes this took her out of her comfort zone to places like Alaska and Uganda, serving others. Her church life, mainly with Village Bible Church, was central to this service and her life.

Anne was proceeded in death by her brother Lucas, her father-in-law John Malone, and her grandparents Herbert and Lois Ramstadt, and Bernard and Jean Camey.

A memorial service will be held on August 15 at 11:15am at Village Bible Church (Sugar Grove) with visitation at 10am. A private family burial will follow later. Memorial gifts can be directed to We Are Called To Care (Yorkville, Illinois) to support their work in the local foster care system, "until all kids have a family" (James 1:27).

Village Bible Church Plano Campus is running another free soccer & craft camp this summer,  July 27-30, from 6:00-8:30 pm. We split the kids up into groups according to age, so they will be practicing skills and playing scrimmages with kids who have similar skill levels. The camp is for  kids age...
