EPIC is a multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-lingual, non-sectarian, diverse, and open community committed to full and equal participation and involvement of men and women who are community members of EPIC and subscribe to accept its rules, regulations, and procedures. EPIC is committed to civic and civil engagement with communities of other faiths and society at large. EPIC has two full time Imams

as well as access to other scholars that provide religious, educational, and Islamic counseling services to the community. Following are some services and activities that EPIC offers:

Tonight EPIC community celebrate the completion of The Glorious Quran by four of our Darul Quran Hifdh School students. We recognized the following students recite their final lesson:

Hajj Reflections

Millions travel to Makkah. They wear the ihram, stand in ʿArafah, throw the Jamarat, and complete the rituals. But the real question is: Did Hajj travel back home with them?

The goal of Hajj is not merely to change our location for a few days; it is to change our hearts for the rest of our lives. If a person returns with the same anger, the same grudges, the same neglect of prayer, the same disobedience, then he may have completed the journey, but the journey did not complete him.

*A sign of an accepted Hajj is not what happens in Makkah—it is what happens after Makkah*
Do we guard our prayers more carefully? Is our tongue cleaner? Is our character better? Are we more forgiving, more humble, more conscious of Allah?

The greatest souvenir from Hajj is not Zamzam, dates, or gifts. It is a transformed heart. The white garments of ihram will eventually come off, but the purity, sincerity, and obedience they symbolize should remain.

So yes, many people go to Hajj. But the successful ones are those who return carrying Hajj in their hearts, their actions, and their character until they meet Allah
