Pentecost is meant to be a people on fire. God never intended faith to be a lonely candle. God intended faith to be a campfire. We all carry that fire, no matter how small it is, ... carry it with confidence.

Jesus came to us on earth to show us what God is like. They saw Jesus forgiving, touching and engaging leppers, welcoming sinners and even washing feet. They were seeing the heart of God. Jesus was there to give us eternal life starting NOW! Jesus completed his assignment! We all have an assignment even thought we are imperfect. Complete your assignment, stay faithful!

Because Christ lives, truth is not relative. Truth is not a philosophy. Death is not final. God is not distant. Our lives are not our own. We can build our lives chasing things that do not satisfy ... create gods, or we can rest in the knowledge that we are loved and accepted by the one who already knows our name. The unknown God is unknown no more.

Don't underestimate what God can do. That small seed, when planted in fertile soil, grows to something big and beautiful. A life fully committed is unstoppable. What begins in Christ never stays small.

Sometimes you are the receiver of God's grace. Sometimes you are the vehicle which God uses to deliver God's grace. Don't just thank God for what he has done for you, go tell someone about it!
