Our mission to be a relationally focused community starts with staying ahead of the needs of our neighbors. We are officially beginning preparations for our HG FoodPacks Fall Pack for the families at SiglerStars (Sigler Elementary)!

Gathering these specific items now ensures we are fully prepared to serve when our Fall packing event arrives.

How You Can Help:

Shop & Drop: Grab these items during your next grocery trip and drop them in the HGBC collection bins the next time you are at church.

Order Online: Scan the QR code to order items directly and have them shipped to the church.

Every can helps us create a relational community and celebrate the opportunity to serve Sigler together!

HGBC Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic
July 7-14, 2026
Cost: $2000 (or less, depending on airfare costs)
Registration and $750 deposit due by April 26.

HGBC partners with the ongoing work of South Texas Children’s Home Ministries in the Dominican Republic. If you’ve considered going on a mission trip before but haven’t, or if you’re looking for an opportunity for your family with children (10 years or older) or teenagers, this may be the trip for you. Projects include light construction, children’s ministry, VBS-type activities, sports ministry, and more.

As our mission work in Colombia continues, we have had the honor of distributing backpacks and school supplies at three more churches. In addition to the distribution of supplies, we have been able to bond with people at each location and share the love of Jesus. God is on the move and we are grateful to be part of what He is doing!

We are having a productive time of ministry in Colombia. On our first two days we had the privilege of serving at three ministry sites where we distributed backpacks and school supplies to almost 200 children. Thank you for your continued prayers as we continue to minister to more over the next few of days
