Volunteers are needed for Saturday, June 22, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., to help Collin County Habitat for Humanity construct affordable housing with repurposed shipping containers at Cotton Groves in McKinney. No experience necessary. Volunteers will be trained on site. Tools will be provided. This is a great opportunity to work alongside your fellow parishioners to provide a helping hand for those in need as we walk in the footsteps of Christ.

Lots of fun this weekend. Cars were lined up for hours. POP Pathfinders volunteered with Minnie's Food Pantry Thanksgiving Giveaway. We loaded up over 4,000 turkeys into the trunks of cars. The Mavs Maniacs and Emerald City provided the entertainment. Our backs are sore but it's a good kind of sore.

Look what our awesome POP Pathfinders were up to over the weekend. Volunteers from our parish were out in force Saturday working with Collin County Habitat for Humanity to repair and rebuild Military Veteran Jimmy Ball's house in McKinney. What started as a half-burned-down structure has now been transformed into a beautiful new home that is almost completed. Join the POP Pathfinders for next month's volunteer project with StreetSide Showers for the homeless as we journey on a path of service in the footsteps of Christ. Day #4 and Day #5 We weeded and mulched the gardens at the House Schoenstatt Retreat Center and Convent along the shores near Rockport. The name Schoenstatt means "Beautiful Place"in German.

The Prince of Peace Pathfinders of Plano, Texas, are excited about our first mission trip to Rockport, Texas, to help the Hurricane Harvey Longterm Recovery Team . Our purpose is to serve others as we grow in faith in the footsteps of Christ. We just finished our first day helping at the Davidson family home. Although initially nervous about the daunting task of taping/bedding all the walls in their home, we were so blessed to find some willing helpers.
