The roots of First Baptist Church of Plano can be traced to 1852 with the founding of Spring Creek Baptist Church, which evolved into the First Baptist Church of Plano in 1872. We have a rich history of being a part of what God has done locally, nationally, and across the world. This heritage of ministry continues today in a church whose focus is loving, serving, and sharing.

Introducing our new monthly series: One Family Challenge!

Each month, we'll share a simple challenge designed to help us live out our mission of being one family sent to welcome and disciple all people to faith in Jesus Christ.

Our September challenge is simple: Learn a new name.

Whether it's someone sitting near you in worship, a guest you haven't met yet, or a familiar face whose name you've never learned, take a few minutes this month to introduce yourself and hear their story. A church becomes a family one conversation at a time.
