Welcome, Jacob Mathes!

We are so excited to welcome Jacob Mathes to the Engage Hope Board of Directors! Jacob's heart for the Lord, his global mission experience, and his professional expertise make him a wonderful addition to our team. We look forward to all that God will do through him!

Born and raised in the Dallas area, Jacob grew up attending First Baptist Church Carrollton (now First Baptist Church at the Fields). He graduated from PCA before earning an Accounting degree from the University of Oklahoma and his CPA license. He began his career at Ernst & Young and now serves as AVP-Finance at Wintrust Asset Finance in Frisco. He and his wife Lindsey were married in 2022 and welcomed their daughter Emma in January 2026. They are active members of Watermark Community Church in Dallas.
Jacob accepted Christ in July 2002, and his faith has shaped every aspect of his life. He has served on short-term mission trips to Mexico, Taiwan, China, and Nicaragua, as well as at Christian summer camps and through local missions. He is excited to join the Engage Hope board and looks forward to what the Lord will continue to do through this organization.

Today, we honor the memory of the brave men and women who laid down their lives so that we may have freedom. We are grateful for their sacrifice and service to this country.

This child was living in a home that was falling apart. Both of her parents were sick, and she had no one to care for her properly.

But then began her story of hope!

She was rescued by our ministry partner Central Baptist Church Wakiso and was taken to Daughters of Zion. She now receives regular meals, clothing, and a safe place to live!

SPONSORSHIP SUCCESS STORY:
These three children were all living with their grandmother in extreme poverty in a home that was falling apart. The grandmother could not work, so she could barely afford one meal a day for them. And because all of her money went towards food, the grandmother couldn’t pay for them to attend school.

THEN GOD PROVIDED HOPE!

The children were rescued by our ministry partner, Revival Outreach. Now, thanks to their sponsors, they are all living at House of Hope where they receive shelter, clothing, and regular meals. They are also receiving a Christ-centered education at Ebenezer Christian Academy, where two of them are currently in Primary Five and the third is in Primary Six.

These blessings are worth celebrating, and we thank God for each one.
