This quote from Henry Miller has me chewing the cud a bit today. As profound as it was prophetic: "Most of the young men of talent whom I have met in this country give one the impression of being somewhat demented. Why shouldn't they? They are living amidst spiritual gorillas, living with food and drink maniacs, success-mongers, gadget innovators, publicity hounds. God, if I were a young man today, if I were faced with a world such as we have created, I would blow my brains out.”

We're back with another Wednesday episode, the next in our Wednesday series on rethinking evangelism and reaching lost people. Today, Mat and Robert discuss the evolving views on religion in the U.S. and the importance of being present in order to join where the Spirit is already moving in the world around you. They explore the shift in American society towards a non-majority religious population, highlighting the continued spiritual hunger and the role of shared experiences that foster a sense of belonging, the power of vulnerability and the value of creating soft spaces for people to care for one another.
