Community Unitarian Universalist Church of Plano

Community Unitarian Universalist Church of Plano Unitarian Universalism (UUism) descends directly from centuries of free thinking liberal religions, guided by shared values.

This faith's core emphasizes the inherent worth and value of every person and the interdependence of everyone and every thing. Our vision: We will become a dynamic and nurturing religious community that celebrates our human diversity, supports lifelong spiritual growth, and acts for compassion and justice in the larger community.

On June 7, CUUC had the joy of participating in McKinney Pride! 🌈

Throughout the festival, our volunteers shared Glitter Blessings, friendship pins, rainbow beads, temporary tattoos, and conversations about our church with members of the community. It was especially meaningful to see people return with friends and loved ones to receive a blessing of their own.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and to the volunteers who helped make the day possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate love, connection, and belonging with our neighbors.

We were honored to represent a faith community where all are welcome and all are valued.

On Book Sunday, June 21, we’ll share We are the Builders, the children’s book version of Deepa Iyer’s Social Change Now, during service — along with some of our congregants’ favorite books!📖

You’re also invited to join the final two weeks of our Social Change Now book club on June 14 and June 21 from 9:30–10:15 a.m. We’ll provide copies of everything you’ll need, so there’s no need to buy the book. Just come as you are and join the conversation!
