CROSSFIRE GLOBAL MINISTRIES

PROPHETIC WORD FOR SEPTEMBER 2026

5787 — “THE YEAR OF THE SOUND, THE GATE, AND THE SENDING”

Isaiah 6:8 (HCSB)
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying: Who should I send? Who will go for Us? I said: Here I am. Send me.”

As Crossfire Global Ministries approaches Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah and the beginning of 5787, I believe September marks an apostolic threshold for this ministry.

The word of the Lord for Crossfire is:

“THE FIRE WAS NEVER GIVEN TO YOU TO REMAIN IN ONE PLACE. I KINDLED IT TO SEND IT INTO THE NATIONS.”

Crossfire, this is a season of THE SOUND, THE GATE, AND THE SENDING.

THE SOUND

Isaiah 58:1 (HCSB) declares:

“Cry out loudly, don’t hold back! Raise your voice like a trumpet.”

There is a sound God has placed within this ministry that cannot be silenced.

It is an apostolic sound.

It is a prophetic sound.

It is a sound calling people back to repentance, covenant, holiness, healing, restoration, and the presence of God.

In 5787, the sound of Crossfire must become clearer and stronger.

What was spoken quietly will be proclaimed boldly.

What was carried privately will begin reaching publicly.

What God deposited through years of preparation will now become a trumpet to others.

THE GATE

Isaiah 22:22 (HCSB) declares:

“When he opens, no one will close; when he closes, no one will open.”

I hear the Spirit declaring:

“I AM OPENING GATES THAT MEN COULD NOT OPEN.”

Crossfire will not have to force every opportunity.

God will establish divine relationships, divine connections, divine invitations, and divine assignments.

But every open door is not necessarily a God door.

Therefore, this season requires discernment.

Do not chase doors. Follow the presence of God.

The right gate will carry the grace necessary for the assignment on the other side.

THE SENDING

Crossfire was never called merely to gather people.

Crossfire was called to equip and send them.

Ephesians 4:11–12 (HCSB) says that Christ gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers “for the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ.”

This is where the apostolic mandate must become stronger.

Raise leaders.
Train disciples.
Restore the wounded.
Equip the called.
Plant where God says plant.
Send where God says send.

The next season of Crossfire cannot be measured only by how many people gather around the fire.

It must also be measured by how many people are ignited by that fire and sent carrying it.

SEPTEMBER IS A MONTH OF CONSECRATION

Before expansion comes consecration.

Joel 2:12 (HCSB) declares:

“Even now—this is the LORD’s declaration—turn to Me with all your heart.”

September is a month to examine the altar.

Anything that competes with the assignment must be surrendered.

Anything that weakens the sound must be removed.

Anything that distracts from the mandate must be brought back into order.

Because God is preparing Crossfire not simply for another ministry season, but for greater apostolic responsibility.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION OVER CROSSFIRE

I declare that as Crossfire Global Ministries enters 5787:

THE SOUND SHALL GO FORTH.

THE RIGHT GATES SHALL OPEN.

THE FIRE SHALL SPREAD.

THE WOUNDED SHALL BE RESTORED.

THE CALLED SHALL BE EQUIPPED.

LEADERS SHALL BE RAISED.

APOSTOLIC AND PROPHETIC VOICES SHALL EMERGE.

NEW TERRITORIES SHALL HEAR THE SOUND.

And what began as a fire carried by a few shall become a fire carried by many.

Crossfire, do not despise the days when the fire seemed small.

God was protecting the flame.

God was preparing the vessels.

God was establishing the foundation.

But now comes the command:

“CARRY THE FIRE BEYOND THE ALTAR.”

5787 will require greater prayer.

Greater discernment.

Greater obedience.

Greater unity.

And greater willingness to go when God says GO.

Habakkuk 2:14 (HCSB) declares:

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD’s glory, as the waters cover the sea.”

Crossfire Global Ministries:

Hear the sound.
Guard the fire.
Walk through the gate.
Equip the people.
And carry His presence into the nations.

5787 — THE SOUND. THE GATE. THE SENDING.

We are in the seventh year of the decade of Pey (5780–5789), a season focused on the mouth, prophetic declaration, and the power of words. As fear, confusion, and deception compete for our attention, God is calling His people to discern His voice and align their speech with His truth.

As we enter 5787, the Hebrew letter associated with the number seven is Zayin, meaning sword or weapon. Together, Pey and Zayin reveal a powerful message: “His Word Is a Sword in Your Mouth.”

This is not a season to remain silent. It is a season to speak what God is saying—to decree His promises, proclaim His truth, and release Heaven’s perspective into earthly situations. God is calling His people to speak with spiritual authority, bringing alignment, breakthrough, and the fulfillment of His purposes.

Preparing for Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah — The Shofar Calls Us to Remember

Main Scripture

Leviticus 23:23–24 (HCSB)
“The LORD spoke to Moses: ‘Tell the Israelites: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a day of complete rest, commemoration and trumpet blasts—a sacred assembly.’”

Supporting Scripture

Numbers 10:9–10 (HCSB) teaches that the trumpet was sounded before Yahweh in times of battle and also during appointed celebrations as a memorial before Him.

Psalm 81:3–4 (HCSB) commands the blowing of the horn at the appointed time and identifies it with an ordinance given to Israel.

Sirach 2:10 (Ethiopian Canon) tells us to look back through the generations and remember that those who trusted Yahweh were not ultimately abandoned.

Ephesians 2:12–14 (HCSB) reminds Gentile believers that we were once separated from Israel's covenants, but through Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah we have been brought near, for He is our peace.

Short Teaching

As we approach Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah, there is another important lesson in the sound of the shofar: REMEMBER.

First, remember what we have been learning.

Yom Teruah is the biblical Day of Trumpet/Shofar Blasting on the first day of the seventh biblical month.

Rosh Hashanah means “Head of the Year” and is observed in Judaism as the Jewish New Year. It marks the traditional Jewish civil New Year. This does not mean that Tishrei is the first month in the Torah's month-count; Aviv/Nisan is designated as the beginning of the months in Exodus 12:2.

Understanding this distinction helps us honor both the biblical text and the Jewish context from which our faith emerged.

But why should remembering be part of our repentance?

Because sometimes we forget how faithful Yahweh has already been.

Sirach tells us to look at previous generations and consider whether those who trusted Yahweh were forsaken. Scripture repeatedly calls Yahweh's people to remember His covenant, His deliverance, His commandments, and His faithfulness.

Before entering the New Year, don't only remember what went wrong.

Remember what Yahweh brought you through.

Remember the prayers He answered.

Remember the doors He opened.

Remember the battles you thought would destroy you—but didn't.

Remember the times you wandered and Yahweh called you back.

That remembrance should produce teshuvah—repentance and return. When we remember Yahweh's faithfulness, we recognize the places where our own hearts have drifted.

And there is a powerful One New Man truth here.

Paul tells Gentile believers that we were once strangers to the covenants of promise, but through the blood of Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah, we have been brought near. Learning the biblical appointed times should therefore point us toward Messiah—not away from Him.

The shofar calls:

WAKE UP. REMEMBER. REPENT. RETURN.

As Rosh Hashanah—the Jewish New Year—approaches, we are not simply preparing to turn a calendar page.

We are preparing our hearts before the King.

Prayer

Abba Yahweh/God the Father, today we remember Your faithfulness. Forgive us for the times we have forgotten what You have already done and allowed fear, disappointment, or circumstances to become louder than Your promises.

Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit, bring to remembrance the places where Yahweh rescued, provided, corrected, protected, and restored us.

Where our hearts have wandered, lead us into genuine teshuvah. Through Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah, bring us closer to You and teach us to walk faithfully as One New Man.

As we prepare for Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah, awaken us to the sound and message of the shofar. Amen.

Prophetic Declaration

I DECLARE: I WILL REMEMBER THE FAITHFULNESS OF YAHWEH!

I will not allow yesterday's disappointment to erase yesterday's testimony.

I remember where Yahweh found me.

I remember what Yahweh delivered me from.

I remember the prayers He answered.

I remember the battles He carried me through.

And because Yahweh was faithful then, I WILL TRUST HIM NOW!

Through Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah, I have been brought near.

As One New Man, we will awaken to Yahweh's purposes.

THE SHOFAR IS SOUNDING: WAKE UP! REMEMBER! REPENT! RETURN! PREPARE FOR THE KING!

Practical Application

Today, write down three things Yahweh has done for you during this past year.

Then ask the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit:

“Because Yahweh has been faithful to me, where do I need to become faithful again to Him?”

Choose one area and begin your teshuvah—your return—today.

Don't enter the New Year only remembering your struggles.

Enter remembering the faithfulness of Yahweh.

Preparing for Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah — Hear the Shofar and Return

Main Scripture

Numbers 29:1 (HCSB)
“You are to hold a sacred assembly in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, and you must not do any daily work. This will be a day of trumpet blasts for you.”

Supporting Scripture

Joel 2:12–13 (HCSB) calls us to return to Yahweh with our whole heart—not merely through outward actions, but through genuine repentance.

Sirach 17:25–26 (Ethiopian Canon) calls the sinner to return to Yahweh, turn away from wrongdoing, and remove the things that cause stumbling.

Ephesians 2:14–15 (HCSB) reveals that through Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah, Jew and Gentile are reconciled and brought together as One New Man.

Short Teaching

As we continue preparing for Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah, it is important to understand why repentance has become such a strong part of our preparation.

Yom Teruah is the biblical designation associated with the Day of Trumpet/Shofar Blasting. Rosh Hashanah, meaning “Head of the Year,” is the later traditional Jewish name for the observance. Today they are observed together on the first day of Tishrei, but the biblical emphasis of Yom Teruah directs our attention to the sound of the trumpet.

And what does that sound say to us?

Wake up. Examine your heart. Return to Yahweh.

Repentance—teshuvah, meaning return—is not merely feeling sorry for something we have done. It means turning away from sin and turning ourselves back toward Yahweh.

The shofar therefore becomes a spiritual alarm. The Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit is calling us out of complacency and back into obedience.

And through Yeshua/Jesus, this invitation is not limited to one ethnicity. Jew and Gentile have been brought near and formed into One New Man. We do not erase Israel's biblical heritage; rather, through Messiah we learn to understand Yahweh's appointed times and what they reveal about His redemptive plan.

The trumpet is not merely announcing a feast. It is calling a people back to their King.

Prayer

Abba Yahweh/God the Father, awaken our hearts. Show us anything that has drawn us away from You. Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit, lead us into true teshuvah—true repentance and return. Cleanse our hearts, restore our obedience, and keep our eyes fixed upon Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah. Teach us to understand Your appointed times and prepare ourselves for the sound of the trumpet. Amen.

Prophetic Declaration

We declare that we hear the call of the shofar! We are awakening from spiritual complacency and returning wholeheartedly to Yahweh. Every distraction, compromise, and weight that has hindered us is being surrendered. Through Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah, we will walk in repentance, obedience, and unity as One New Man. Our hearts will be ready when the trumpet sounds!

Practical Application

Set aside a few quiet minutes today and ask:

“Yahweh, where do I need teshuvah—where do I need to return to You?”

Do not simply identify the problem. Make one concrete change today that demonstrates your return to Yahweh.
