This is what it looks like to be sent. Through faithful volunteers, genuine relationships, and a welcoming community, God is creating opportunities to share the hope of Christ with students right next door at UTD.

I want to send deep gratitude for all of u who so faithfully serve UTD students on Monday nights. Your gracious hospitality is opening a door specifically with [name redacted] (and friend [name redacted]) both Muslim students.
We r offering Quran/Torah Joseph Reading groups at UTD and training Christian students to host these in order to open up strategic conversations with Muslim students. I met [name redacted] at free lunch and invited him to the Joseph group. While the other students were talkative and engaged, he was not. He told me afterward that he doesn't know enough about either book to participate. So we invited him to come have dinner at Refuge.
The first week he came, loaded up on food, and was friendly but had to leave. The next two weeks he has stayed. Last Monday he brough his Muslim friend and was even more curious about Christianity than normal. I asked him if i could explain the story of the Bible with him and shared the gospel starting in Genesis. He and his friend both happily received Bibles, and [name redacted] said he would read John.
