Dallas-FTW Regional Weekend & Teen Prom

We are excited to announce that we have our Regional Family Weekend service project set for March 11th at the North Texas Food Bank. Our volunteer time slot is from 1:00-3:30. All volunteers must be 12 years or older. To register, please use the link below. Each volunteer will need to create their own account. Once you have created your account, you will automatically be added to the “United Church of God-Dallas” team and secure your spot. We are needing a few adults to join us as well. UCG Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Weekend & Teen Prom—March 11–13, 2022

UCG-DFW will be hosting a regional weekend and prom, March 11–13 in Plano, Texas. The focus of the weekend will be on developing “A Servant’s Heart” through acts of service. We are honored to have as guest speakers Mr. Ben Light and Mr. Jorge de Campos.
Attendees ages 12+ can volunteer at a local food bank, early Friday afternoon. Friday evening, we will have a dessert social. At 11 a.m. on the Sabbath, there will be simultaneous Bible studies for adults and teens and Sabbath school. The DFW congregations will then provide a potluck lunch before the 2 p.m. service. At the conclusion of services, there will be a slideshow honoring graduating seniors. In the evening, a formal dinner and dance will be offered for teens (ages 12-19) at the Hilton-Richardson/Dallas. The theme of the prom is “Starry Night”. Meanwhile, remaining brethren can enjoy a pizza dinner, fellowship and games at our meeting hall and preteens (ages 4+) can enjoy games, story time, a dance party and movie. From 9–3 on Sunday, brethren can play volleyball or board games and fellowship at a local school. The DFW congregations will provide a chili lunch.

The cost for the prom and dinner is $45 per person if received by Feb. 22 OR $40 per person if payment is received by Feb 8. The pizza dinner will cost $6 per person or $25 per family. We will also be collecting canned goods for a local charity.
