We are excited to revisit a popular topic we’ve covered in the past: The Dangers of Twisting Scripture. We will take a look at a passage of Scripture that is often taken out of context and used to suit our preferences and comfort. We will read this passage, place it in its proper context, and decide if we, especially in the American Church culture, have misused it.

Sunday, January 14th, at 9 AM, we will begin our brand new Life Group Series, She Works His Way. This study will take us through conversations about how God wants us to live versus how the world wants us to live. It's hard to know where the boundary lines are sometimes, but we will talk through them together! This series will be full of rich conversations, exciting challenges that we can tackle together, and overall a season of growing closer to the Lord. This is based off the book and study guide, She Works His Way by Michelle Myers and Somer Phoebus. We will enjoy some breakfast and coffee together too. Come hungry!

Exciting news! Our women's life group is launching a new series this Sunday, centered around the book "She Works His Way." We'll be diving into the topic of resisting cultural norms and adopting a Gospel-centered approach to work and womanhood, all for the glory of God and the good of others.

Have you ever found yourself asking why you're working so hard and still so unfulfilled? Or how to be effective at work while staying committed to the Gospel? We're on a quest for answers, turning to the Word for guidance. We warmly invite you to join us during this series in the upcoming weeks!

Ladies don't forget! We have a fun time ahead of this Saturday December 2nd, from 9-11AM in the Grace Fireside Room in the Admin Building at 5000 W Parker Rd. Plano, TX 75093. We'll bring all the supplies you need to make some cute and fun Christmas cards together. Light snacks will be provided. Not only will we have a nice time Christmas crafting, but we will also fill one card out per person to send to bless a local foster family. We hope you can join us and be sure to invite someone to join you!

Guess what? We have a new series starting this Sunday! Over the next 6 weeks, we will take a look at 6 examples in the Old Testament where God's redemptive plan for humanity is hinted at and foretold. Starting from the beginning, we'll take a close look at Creation, Abraham, Joseph, Judah, Ruth and Boaz, and King David. All of their lives, stories, and testimonies point us to the coming Messiah, in more than just the obvious ways. As we head into the Christmas season, we pray this study helps our hearts prepare room for Jesus, and deepens our understanding of who He is and why He came.

If you'd like to study ahead and prepare for week one, please read Genesis 1 through 3. As you do, note the places where you see any glimpse of a redemption story or a hint of the promised Messiah. Let's talk about it Sunday!
