CCR Young Adults Study "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations" Matthew 28:19

That's what we seek to do. It's not enough to know of Jesus, but rather to know Him.

Jeremiah 9: 23-24
"Thus says the Lord:
“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord."

Our wisdom strength and riches are from God. When we say we have something good, it should always give glory to God. He is the vine and we are the branches, apart from Him we can do nothing of worth. When we need wisdom, we ask and we receive. As a Christian we can't earn something like that. God simply gives according to His will and plans for your life. Is there something you need? Are you asking God in faith to supply your every need?

2nd Chronicles 20:1-30 is a wonderful illustration of God's protection over those who put their trust in Him. If God asks you to do something that doesn't make sense (like putting the marching band in front of your army) are you going to trust Him?
