Lord, thank You for our Vestry team here at Holy Trinity.

This group who travel and come together from so many different places. Bringing their gifts and talents, with the vision You give us. Joining in this beautiful privilege as leaders in this congregation.

I walked in with a technical challenge for the Church and one person stepped right in to take care of it (and is so gifted to do so), another two troubleshooting some physical needs of the Church, plus a team (of three) willing to embrace pastoral needs and another willing to go above and beyond to help our new minister and family in his transition of moving from one location to another. Another challenge comes up with an over abundance of baby donations for expecting Moms that there may not be enough room in the vehicle to get all the donations all in and putting our heads together to figure out this great problem to have. Joy in hearing of upcoming confirmations and parishioners willing to step up and serve in new ways.

Honest opinions on the ideas, on how to help grow the church and the churches needs. Also on how often to meet, even in the lazy summer days. A team, Building and loving up on this community God entrusts to us and an excitement even to reach out in evangelism in multiple ways(Terryville Fair here we come!) and those who had to zoom in virtually and or absent, even making sure that we had the documentation that was necessary for this gathering.

Then, our new Minister to be(not even on the clock yet)closed us in a powerful prayer, with the tangible move of the Holy Spirit; as the words fell just right into our(my) ears and hearts. Bringing us to lean in on our Father even more and encourage this mighty band of believers.

Dear Beloved,
Our Brother John has gone home to be with Our Lord and his most beautiful bride Barb.
A Godly man who I have no doubt is celebrating with Jesus!
He was and is loved beyond measure.

A New Diocese! Pray for our Brothers and Sisters as they begin this new adventure!

Good news from Provincial Council! We have our new DIOCESE!!! 🥳🥳🥳

After years of prayer, discernment, and planning, Provincial Council has officially approved the formation of the Anglican Diocese of the Mid-South.

The Steering Committee has already been meeting for several months in preparation for this moment. A Committee for the Nomination of Bishop has been established (more on that below), and plans are underway to launch a diocese that is healthy, sustainable, and equipped to empower churches to make disciples throughout our region.

Please join us in praying that the Lord will continue to bless this work and that, through the ministry of this new diocese, more and more people across the Mid-South will encounter the transforming love of Jesus Christ.

The Committee for the Nomination of Bishop

After a season of prayer and discernment, the Committee for the Nomination of Bishop for the Anglican Diocese of the Mid-South has been formally established. On June 4, the Steering Committee approved the final slate of clergy and lay members after prayerful consideration.

Please keep this committee in your prayers over the coming months as they lead the diocese toward the election of its first bishop.
