During morning service, Happy Union Baptist Church / HUBC and the Wayland Baptist University Football team had the opportunity to worship and fellowship together!
Our speaker for today was First Gentleman Pete Hedgepath, husband of Dr. Donna Hedgepath WBU President. We are grateful for the message he shared with us!
Immediately following service, fellowship was held at the James Hearn Activity Center, where the members and friends of HUBC had an abundance of home cooked meals prepared and ready to serve everyone who joined us for worship. Everyone was able to eat until they were satisfied and even take an extra plate back home or to the dorm for later!
God blessed us with such an abundance that we were also able to bless Wayland Baptist University students living in the Jimmy Dean and Caprock dorms with the food that remained.
Thank you to every member for your obedience, your willingness to serve, and your heart for others. This is ministry!
As amazing as all of that was, the greatest part of today was knowing that seeds were planted, people were strengthened, and 11 people made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!
