Queenship of Mary Church was established on October 22, 1982 by decree of Bishop Theodore McCarrick (now Cardinal). It is our honor to be the one parish that is dedicated under the title of Queenship of Mary, patroness of the Diocese of Metuchen which was created in February 1982. Founded to serve the people of Cranbury and Plainsboro, it began as a mission of St. Cecilia parish in Monmouth Junction. Queenship of Mary Church stands ready to serve the current and future needs of its parish families having grown in number at the start of merely 50 families to currently over 800 families. The “Make Church Matter” pastoral plan keeps our mission as a parish community always on our minds, and will help us to grow in our commitment to God and become His true disciples. So many work and participate in ministries such as our Social Outreach Programs, St. Vincent DePaul, Knights of Columbus, Guatemala Partnership, Bible Study and Living Faith, and now we seek to actively invite others to Make Church Matter in their lives and join us at Mass and within our other faithful ministries.
