“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.”

Grace is God giving us what we do not deserve. Mercy is God withholding what we do deserve. Together, grace and mercy are the evidence of God’s unfailing love toward us.

Every Wednesday reminds us that we are midweek—sometimes weary, sometimes stretched, sometimes unsure—but still standing. And the reason we are still standing is because of God’s grace and mercy. We woke up this morning not because we earned it, but because His mercy was renewed. We made it this far in the week not by our strength, but by His grace.

Grace meets us where we are. Mercy covers us when we fall short. Even when we stumble, God does not remove His hand from us. Instead, He restores us, realigns us, and reminds us that His compassion has no expiration date.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed today, pause and thank God for grace that carries you and mercy that shields you. What you didn’t get right yesterday, His mercy covered. What you need strength for today, His grace will provide.

God has been faithful before, and He will be faithful again.

Amazing grace, oh, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see.

As we begin this new week, let us pause and reflect on grace—God’s unearned, undeserved, and unconditional favor. Grace is not something we work for; it is something we receive. It meets us where we are, not where we think we should be.

Grace carries us through moments of weakness, covers our shortcomings, and reminds us that God’s love is not based on our performance but on His promise. When we fall short, grace lifts us. When we are weary, grace sustains us. When guilt tries to hold us hostage, grace sets us free.

This week, walk boldly knowing you are standing in grace. You don’t have to prove yourself to God—He already chose you. Let grace shape how you treat yourself and how you extend mercy to others.

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free.” — Galatians 5:1 (KJV)

Today we honor Juneteenth—a sacred reminder that freedom, though delayed, is still worth celebrating. On this day, news of emancipation finally reached those who had been bound, affirming a truth heaven already declared: God never intended His people to live in chains.

Juneteenth invites us to remember that freedom is not just a historical moment—it is a spiritual mandate. God is a Deliverer. He hears the cries of the oppressed, sees injustice, and moves in His time to break every yoke. While laws may change circumstances, only Christ transforms hearts and brings true liberty.

As we celebrate, let us recommit ourselves to walking in the freedom Christ secured—freedom from fear, bitterness, shame, and limitation. And let us also be people who protect freedom, teach truth, and stand for justice, so generations to come know both the cost and the calling of liberty.

I am free. I walk in truth. I live delivered.

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

This simple line from the Lord’s Prayer carries a powerful surrender. When we pray “Thy kingdom come,” we are not asking God to fit into our plans—we are asking Him to establish His rule in our hearts, our homes, and our daily decisions. God’s Kingdom is not just a future promise; it is a present reality wherever His authority is honored and His love is lived out.

“Thy will be done” is a prayer of trust. It means yielding our desires, timelines, and understanding to God’s perfect wisdom. It’s easy to pray this when life is smooth; it’s harder when we are waiting, hurting, or confused. Yet true faith is believing that God’s will—though not always easy—is always right (Isaiah 55:8–9).

Jesus modeled this kind of surrender. In the garden, He prayed, “Not my will, but thine, be done” (Luke 22:42). He teaches us that obedience often requires sacrifice, but it always leads to purpose.

When we pray this prayer sincerely, we are inviting God to:

* Rule our attitudes and actions
* Align our hearts with heaven
* Use us as vessels to reflect His love, justice, and mercy on earth
