All music lovers! This Sunday we will celebrate a holiday weekend with a special service of music at our regular worship service time––11:00 AM in the sanctuary.

Our church is a "singing church". We love to sing. So, we'll have some special instrumental music, some special sung music, plus we'll sing hymns together and have a time for requests!

There will be NO Sunday school this Sunday. Only service at 11 AM.

See everyone on Sunday at 11 AM in the sanctuary!

It’s always a good morning when we as the community if Plains can serve our neighbors with food as a part of our monthly Rosalynn Carter Memorial Food Distribution downtown. Thank you for all who make time in their Saturday morning to serve, and for all who come to fill some gaps in their cabinets. And thank you Second Harvest of South Georgia, Inc. for providing the truck of goods!

We serve every 3rd Saturday morning of the month. If you need food, line up in your car along Main Street early. If you want to serve, 7:45a in the Plains Historic Inn and Antique Mall parking lot. ❤️

Don't forget, this Sunday May 10 we will have our monthly "Jimmy Sunday" where we dive into the archives to play one of President Carter's Sunday school lessons from the past for our Sunday School hour, beginning at 10a EST in-person at Maranatha here in Plains, or streaming live on Facebook and YouTube. While she won’t be serving up a plate of biscuits and grits this morning, Nelle Ariail WILL be offering us a story of God’s goodness and greatness during our Sunday school hour this morning at Marantha, starting at 10a EST in the sanctuary. Many of you know Nelle for her and her family’s years of service to our congregation and community, including her current post as a Deacon. We love you, Nelle!
