Zollie Smith in 1980, Rev. Smith was later called to another branch in Zion. In 1990, the late Rev. Dr. Wayne Chapman was installed as Pastor of the now God’s Assembly In Christ. God’s mission continues as we reach the unsaved souls and praise His holy name. In the year 2001, the Lord called Pastor Wayne Chapman home to Glory. In 2002, Pastor Gregory K. Chapman was installed as Pastor following a

year of interim. God's Assembly In Christ is a local church within the outer border of Plainfield, NJ. Pastor and First Lady Gregory and Tracie Chapman serve as our shepherd, and lead/teach us in the word, and in the way of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit leads. We are not affiliated with "Assemblies of God" Organization
