Prayer Request: Billy (4 yrs. old) has been sick with his asthma since Tuesday, High Fever of 103.5 tonight...Asthma exacerbation & (viral or bacterial infection)...Thank God no pneaumonia or influenza! Praying for a speedy recovery! At the hospital tonight, poor little guy says, "Mommy, am I going to pass away?" "Absolutely NOT." That is how sick he feels though, very weak! Praying for his energetic spirit to return, thank you Jesus!

Choose to be an encourager today, someone may be going through a difficult circumstance and just need you to listen or they may need words of encouragement to be able to get through today. Rev. Derby is an Ordained Christian Minister through Star Vision Christian Ministries, and holds dual Certification as an Internationally Certified Drug Abuse Counselor with the Connecticut Certification Board and the Connecticut Department of Public Health. She has been employed with the Connecticut Department of Correction since 2001 as a Correctional Substance Abuse Counselor, and currently holds that position.
