What an extraordinary weekend! Journey Center Global Homecoming 2026 was a joyful celebration of God’s faithfulness over 30 years of fruitful ministry.

We began Friday evening with a fellowship mixer at The Nolan Gallery, where friends and family gathered from far and near for an evening of laughter, love, and reconnection.

Saturday brought our theme, “Rooted in Faith, Grounded in Purpose,” to life through inspiring worship led by Pastor Darrin Carter, powerful testimonies, Conclave Live, Sisterhood Live, and heartfelt celebration. We were honored to recognize Pastor Gloria and Bishop Nolan McCants for three decades of faithful, selfless service.

A defining moment of the weekend came as the emerging generations boldly articulated the vision of Journey Center Global and publicly committed to carrying it forward. Pastor Steven Hines sealed the moment with a powerful charge, calling them to embrace ownership of the vision and build faithfully on the foundation that has been laid.

Sunday provided a fitting conclusion with worship led by Pastor Darrin Carter and a timely message from Bishop Kenneth Myers, urging us to remain rooted in the ancient while reaching into tomorrow. His ministry at the Lord’s Table reminded us of the enduring power of the Eucharist and the timeless practices that continue to shape Christ’s Church.

We were especially blessed to welcome our ministry family from Texas, Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana, Arizona, and beyond—a testament to the growing reach of Journey Center Global and our shared pursuit of becoming high-caliber human beings who follow the model of Christ.

Homecoming 2026 reminded us that while we celebrate our past, our greatest days are still ahead. Rooted in faith. Grounded in purpose. Ready for tomorrow. To God be all the glory.

Enjoyed breakfast this morning with our pastoral team. We shared stories, laughed, shed a few tears, prayed together, and reflected on the legacy of a ministry we have helped build over several decades. It was a meaningful reminder of God’s faithfulness through the years and the lives that have been impacted along the way. As we looked ahead, one thing was clear—the future of this work is bright, and the next chapter holds tremendous promise.

Gratitude Sunday at Journey Center Global. Today our Journey Center community gathered at The Nolan Gallery to share stories of gratitude, reflect on God’s goodness, and encourage one another. One of the great benefits of community is being reminded that we are not walking alone. Through heartfelt StoryShare moments, meaningful conversations, and our hybrid gathering both online and in person, we laughed, reflected, celebrated, and gave thanks together. The testimonies were inspirational, impactful, emotional, and filled with praise for a faithful God whose hand is evident in every season. Community strengthens us, gratitude centers us, and together we leave encouraged for the journey ahead.
