Special Announcement!

for Sunday, August 23


Dear Church Family,

These past few weeks have been tough on us all. Air quality, evacuation orders, and lost income are realities our Valley faces when fires linger. Let’s continue to pray and do what we can to demonstrate God’s love to our community, who are stressed, and to the guests who are here working hard to protect us.

Because of the fires and the resulting poor air quality, we have decided to cancel the BBQ planned for after church this coming Sunday. We wanted to make this decision today so everyone would have time to adjust their plans.

We hope to still see you in church on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Our worship service will still be held INDOORS again this week. We will continue to walk in obedience to the Word of God and move forward with the baptisms immediately following the service. We are grateful to have three baptism candidates who are ready to publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ. Even though we will miss sharing the meal together, we look forward to celebrating this meaningful moment with them and their families.

Please continue to pray for those affected by the fires, for the firefighters and emergency personnel serving our communities, and for improved air quality.

Thank you for being people who strive, in every way and especially on the hard days, to live out the greatest commandment in the Bible: to love God with all that you are and to love people with all that you have.

We look forward to worshiping and celebrating with you this Sunday!
