- IF WE MISSED ONE, PLEASE ADD IT TO THE COMMENTS UNDER EACH LOCATION POST!! -

Happy Independence Day 2026! | We are celebrating this year with a fun community give back moment at Bryan's Bowling Center in the small this year!

It's a HOT one and we want everyone to stay safe! You can find information about the cooling centers under each location graphic.

☀️ Extreme heat can become dangerous quickly. If you don't have access to air conditioning, or know someone who doesn't, take advantage of local cooling centers and community resources.

💧 Heat Safety Reminders:
Drink plenty of water-even if you don't feel thirsty.
Stay indoors or in air-conditioned spaces during the hottest part of the day (10 AM–4 PM).
Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and take frequent breaks if you're outside.
Never leave children, older adults, or pets in a parked vehicle - even for a minute.
Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and anyone with medical conditions who may be more vulnerable to heat-related illness.

🐾 Don't Forget Your Pets!
Make sure pets always have access to fresh, cool water and shade.
Walk dogs early in the morning or after sunset to avoid hot pavement, which can burn their paws. If the pavement is too hot for your hand for 7 seconds, it's too hot for their paws. Watch for signs of heat exhaustion such as excessive panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting, and seek veterinary care immediately if needed.

❤️ A quick check-in with a friend, neighbor, or loved one can make all the difference during extreme heat. Stay safe, stay cool, and share this post to help others find relief.

I just have to share it I had the most amazing phone call with a FORGE original. The whole reson we started FORGE was this family and in 2026 we are different but still going. Anthony is like one of our kids and his brothers as well. I needed that call. God is good.

🇺🇸 We’re Excited to Be Part of Laurel’s 4th of July Community Celebration! 🇺🇸

FORGE Youth & Family Academy will be joining the celebration at Bryan's Bowling Center on July 4th, and we’d love for you to stop by and say hello!

As a nonprofit dedicated to helping youth, young adults, and families thrive, we’re proud to support events that bring our community together. We’ll have an information table where parents, youth, and community members can learn more about our programs and how we’re working to build a stronger future for Laurel and other surrounding communities.

At FORGE, we believe that when young people have positive influences, meaningful opportunities, and a strong support system, they are more likely to succeed both in school and in life. That’s why we offer:

✅ Youth Mentorship Programs
✅ Food Pantry Support
✅ Adult Transition Services
✅ GED Assistance & Educational Support
✅ Resume Writing & Employment Readiness
✅ Family and Community Resources

Over the past several years, our community has experienced heartbreaking losses of young lives. While there is no single solution, we believe that mentorship, education, parental involvement, and positive community connections play a critical role in helping young people make healthy choices and reach their full potential.

If you’re a parent, grandparent, caregiver, educator, or simply someone who cares about the future of Laurel, we’d love to talk with you about how we can work together to support the next generation.

Stop by our table, meet part of our team, and learn how FORGE is helping break the cycle through mentorship, education, and opportunity.

📍 Bryan’s Bowling Center
📅 July 4th
⏰ 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Together, we can build a stronger community for our youth and families. ❤️

✨ Holiday Project 2025: A Season of Impact ✨

This holiday season reminded us exactly why community matters. Because of the generosity of our local supporters, donors, volunteers, and partners, the Holiday Project was able to support families in so many meaningful ways. From toys under the tree, to warm meals, holiday rental assistance and critical support when it mattered most.

What made this project truly special wasn’t just what we gave, but how we gave it: together. Every act of kindness, every donation, every share and show-up created real relief and real hope for families in our community. This success belongs to you.

As we look ahead, 2026 is all about connection, community, and support. FORGE Youth and Family Academy is evolving, and with new programs launching, we’re preparing to reach more people than ever before…not just during the holidays, but year-round.

Thank you for believing in the mission, standing with us, and helping us break cycles to build stronger futures. The impact is growing, and this is only the beginning. 🤍✨
