We will be having our second community meal on March 28th from 4-6 pm. The meal will be baked potatoes (will have a few sweet potatoes available) with all the toppings including ham, bacon, cheese, cottage cheese butter, sour cream, a variety of veggies, salsa, etc. We will have a variety of breads and homemade desserts as well as beverages. We hope to see you there!

This weekend our Confirmation students are attending the Youth Faith Formation at the Daycholah Center in Ripon. We arrived safely and looking forward to a time full of fun, fellowship, and growth in our faith. Pray for them. Pray for us.

The choices of soups - pick one or all- we’ll have different size cups.

*Chicken Dumpling
*Pea Soup with Ham
*Corn Chowder with Bacon
An assortment of breads and rolls with crackers and home made desserts are also available. We also do carry outs.

Our first Community Meal of 2026 at the Pittsville United Church of Christ will be on February 21st from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The free meal will our soup meal. The planned soups will be homemade chicken and dumpling, Spicy Tomato Dill, Zuppa Toscana, Split Pea and Ham and Corn Chowder with bacon. We will also have crackers/rolls/bread and homemade desserts. We do have carry out containers if your preference is to take it home to enjoy.

People of all ages, denominations and financial situations are welcome. The meal is free but if you’re so inclined, we do accept free will donations that help cover the cost of the next meal. So, if you’re hungry, sick of cooking, or just need the company of friends and a homemade meal please come and join us.

Given that this is winter in Wisconsin, if there is a significant weather event expected that day we will postpone to a later date in March.

As always, this is not a fundraiser but rather a “friend or fun-raiser". We hope to see you there!

Our last Community Meal of the calendar year will be this Saturday October 11th from 4:00 to 6:00 . The meal will be sliced ham and Tuscan chicken breasts, green bean casserole and buttered green beans with red “smashed” potatoes. A variety of rolls with butter and home made desserts will also be available as well as coffee, milk and flavored drinks. There is no charge for the meal but we do put out a basket for donations to keep the program going if you are able to contribute. The community meal program is not a fund raiser but a “friend or fun” raiser. We hope to see you there! We have served well over 10,000 meals since its inception in 2008 and have found it a wonderful way to serve our community!
