Dear Christ Church family,
It has come to our attention that several members of the parish have received emails and/or text messages from criminals pretending to be Kevin or other staff members. NO ONE from Christ Church will ever send you an email or a text asking you to purchase gift cards, provide financial information, or conduct any business on Christ Church's behalf.
We also will never contact you via an .com account. We will always use our church email addresses.
Generally speaking, any time you see a request like that you can be assured it is disingenuous and someone is trying to scam you. Please do not click on any links or attachments in suspicious emails.
Experts recommend you update your computer and phone passwords at least every six months. If you have any questions or concerns, please let the office know by phone, 585-586-1226 or email.
