Thursday, September 3 - Open Sanctuary and Deeper Well resume, now on Thursdays

Eucharist with Cathedral of the Beloved, 12:30pm
Open Sanctuary 1:30-5pm
Deeper Well: Brief Spiritual Practices For Busy, Weary People 5-5:26pm

Today at 5 - Examen Prayer. A spiritual practice with roots in the Jesuit tradition, the examen invites us to review our day to search out places where we have stood on holy ground.

Open Sanctuary is a self-guided time for you to take a bit of quiet and refuge in the middle of your week. Come anytime from 3-5pm to spend some time in the beauty of our space, lift your prayers, or simply rest and enjoy the silence and stillness.

Then at 5, come to the Deeper Well. Tend your spirit and find renewal as we gather for simple, brief, and accessible spiritual practices.

A joint venture of Cathedral of the Beloved, St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, and Zion Lutheran Church, Deeper Well features the leadership of Rev. Jenny Gregg, Rev. Nina Pooley, and Rev. Joel Bergeland.

Deeper Well - Go Deeper. Be Well.

Walk Our Labyrinth
Sunday, Aug. 2nd, 11:15-12:30pm and every first Sunday of the month.

You are invited to walk a Chartres-style labyrinth located in the auditorium on the second floor of St. Stephen's Church in Pittsfield, MA. This is an opportunity to quiet our minds, listen to our breaths, and open our hearts as we pray and celebrate our connections to each other.

Walking the labyrinth is a spiritual experience in many traditions as it is a path of prayer, a walking meditation, and supports mindfulness practices. Upon entering the labyrinth you may find your mind quieting as you move to the center. There, you find a place for meditation and prayer, staying as long as you like. As you return on the path, a connection to the divine and an ability to reflect more easily may be felt.

The St. Stephen's labyrinth is open the first Sunday of every month from 11:15 to 12:30. Enter at 37 Allen Street, the side door and take stairs to the second floor.
