September 4 – Share What You've Been Given

Scripture:
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another." – 1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)

Reflection:
Harvest isn't just about gathering what has grown. It's also about sharing the blessings we've received. Whether God has given you wisdom, encouragement, generosity, or a listening ear, someone around you can benefit from what He's placed in your life. Blessings grow when they're shared.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gifts You've placed in my life. Show me how to use them to encourage and serve others.

Reflection Question:
What has God given me that I could share with someone else this week?

Call to Action:
Find one practical way to bless someone today with your time, talents, or encouragement.

Please like and share.

September 3 – A Heart of Contentment

Scripture:
"But godliness with contentment is great gain." – 1 Timothy 6:6 (ESV)

Reflection:
The world constantly tells us we need more to be happy. God gently reminds us that true contentment isn't found in having more things. It's found in trusting the One who has promised never to leave us. A grateful heart often becomes a contented heart.

Prayer:
Father, teach me to be content with the blessings You've given me. Help me find my joy in You rather than in things.

Reflection Question:
What blessing in my life deserves more appreciation than I've been giving it?

Call to Action:
Spend a few minutes today thanking God for the simple blessings that fill your everyday life.

Please like and share.

September 2 – Grateful for God's Provision

Scripture:
"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." – Philippians 4:19 (ESV)

Reflection:
Harvest season reminds us that every crop begins with seeds, rain, sunshine, and countless things beyond our control. The same is true in our lives. Much of what we enjoy each day comes because God faithfully provides. Gratitude grows when we recognize that every good gift ultimately comes from Him.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for faithfully providing for my needs. Help me trust You for both today and tomorrow.

Reflection Question:
How have I seen God's provision in my life recently?

Call to Action:
Thank God today for one blessing you usually take for granted.

Please like and share.

September 1 – A Time to Harvest

Scripture:
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." – Matthew 9:37 (ESV)

Reflection:
Across the countryside, fields will soon be ready for harvest. Jesus used that familiar picture to remind us that there are people all around us who need hope, encouragement, and the love of God. Every conversation, every kind word, and every act of compassion can become a seed that God uses in someone's life.

Prayer:
Father, open my eyes to the people around me who need encouragement today. Help me be willing to share Your love wherever I go.

Reflection Question:
Who has God placed in my life that needs hope today?

Call to Action:
Reach out to one person today with a kind word, an invitation, or an offer to help.

Please like and share.

August 31 – A New Season Begins

Scripture:
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!" – Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV)

Reflection:
Tomorrow begins a new month, and before long the leaves will begin to change. Every season reminds us that God is always doing something new. While it's good to remember His faithfulness, it's also important to look ahead with anticipation. God has new opportunities, new lessons, and new blessings waiting for those who trust Him.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for leading me into every new season of life. Help me walk forward with faith instead of fear.

Reflection Question:
What new opportunity might God be placing before me?

Call to Action:
Begin praying today for what God wants to accomplish in your life this fall.

Please like and share.

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR THE PERSON WHO LOOKS FINE BUT DOESN’T FEEL FINE.

You keep showing up.

You keep helping others.

You keep saying, “I’m doing all right.”

But inside, you wonder if you’re doing enough or if you’ll ever be enough.

This Sunday, we’re going to talk honestly about that pressure.

No pretending. No easy answers. Just a real conversation about the voice that tears us down and the grace of God that meets us right where we are.

Why Do I Feel Like I’m Never Enough?

Join us this Sunday at Pittsfield United Methodist Church.

Come tired. Come uncertain. Come as you are.

There’s a place for you here.
