June 2 – Light

Scripture:
"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" – Psalm 27:1 (ESV)

Reflection:
Longer days remind us how powerful light can be. Just like the sun brightens the world, God’s presence brings clarity and hope into our lives. Where there is His light, fear begins to fade.

Prayer:
God, be the light in my life today. Help me trust You in every situation I face.

Reflection Question:
Where do I need God’s light to guide me right now?

Call to Summer Action:
Step outside today and thank God for His light—both in creation and in your life.

You can do everything right.

And still feel like something’s missing.

Like all that effort isn’t really adding up to anything that lasts.

Most people don’t talk about that part.

June 1 – Rest

Scripture:
"He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." – Psalm 23:3 (ESV)

Reflection:
Summer has a way of inviting us to slow down, even if just a little. God designed us to need rest—not just physically, but spiritually. When we pause and turn to Him, He restores what life has worn down.

Prayer:
Lord, restore my soul today. Help me find true rest in You, not just in my circumstances.

Reflection Question:
Where in my life do I need God’s restoring rest?

Call to Summer Action:
Take a few quiet minutes today to sit, breathe, and invite God to renew your spirit.
